God loves us, God needs us. We are created to worship Him, to serve Him and His purposes. We are nothing without him. Our worth depends on Him using us for His purposes. And on and on and on….
Then God is just a user, He takes what He wants and uses it for His purposes? He doesn’t care about who I am, but i’m valuable because I can do something for him? I’m supposed to find purpose in His system and get used?
Look at gold, precious metals, diamonds and other stones. When are they valued? When people need them and use them (looking and keeping them is using, putting them in a frame is using). Designing and building a car if nobody will use it is a waste. Any thing, any piece of art is a waste to create it if nobody will use. Even the designer can use and enjoy, not necessarily other people, but it needs to be for someone to not be pointless. Beautiful mountain, space, lake, birds – are all useless if nobody uses them. ACTUALLY ITS STRANGE if your creation things its purpose is to live for itself. Sounds like some kind of an oxymoron…
So yes, be happy that you are in demand, be useful. Its a privilege. Live keeping others in mind.
