I was rustling in the kitchen drawer and accidentally grabbed the knife out of the drawer with the sharp end and it didn’t cut me. Thanking God, I though, “but He let it happen.” Is this so I can notice and appreciate Him? Sounds even more wrong.
I say, God, here is a chance for us to talk, for You to answer (or I will call Alex Shevchenko), since I don’t have an answer in my head, so you have to put it there. Then I realize that I have read the whole bible few times and examples from there are in my head so I can get an answer. (Then I start thinking about different examples and realize it’s easier to call Alex). And then I realize that if I want an answer I have to think, remember Bible, review and remember stories and examples and details from the Bible. As you see, I didn’t receive an answer right away, but I did receive a guided first step. And this first step is reasoned and ‘the ball is in my court’ now. So I will go search, but since you have heard what I said, ‘the ball is in your court’ too about questions you may have.
